1. Yard cranes in terminal yard powered by electrical system
As part of HPNT's efforts to comply with international envl-ronmental regulations brought on by climate change, our organization has introduced the ATC (Automated Transfer Crane) for use within the terminal premises, replacing the engine-driven RTGC (Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane) with electric-powered RMGC (Rail-Mounted Gantry Crane). By making engines for yard cranes unnecessary, minimizing the use of fuel oil, and significantly reducing fuel consumption at the terminal, our organization is promoting "green manage-ment in the field of port operations."
2. Solar energy system in place
With the solar energy system installed on the roofs of terminal gates, nearly five percent of all electricity used comes from solar energy (Rolated equipment : photovoltaic module, grid-connected Inverter, solar cell function panel, monitoring equipment, and more)
